So we all know (fair players, sure), that there is a huge balance issue: destro overpopulates order in 2:1 and sometimes even 4:1 ratio. And I'm not talking about NA time, where can be even 0 orderlings.
This kind of gameplay is far from being fun for both sides:
order - no chance to win, maybe only gank some afkers
destro - only afk at BOs without enemy on sight or chasing with full group for some stranger orderling in hope to hit him even once.
For lower side it affects not only RVR, but PVE too: ~0 chances to find a group for grinding better gear and having better chances in RVR, totally empty AH without talis and pots, etc.
Popularity of Destro is pretty explainable - they looks more "manly" (in fact - not) and kids are like that. Also, Destro with Live mechs here would return their brainless OP-classes back, like Marauder or DoK.
ROR has this issue too (yes, no joke) even after all of their balance steps, like nerfing most OP destro classes (mara, dok) and buffing some order classes to the skies (WL, SW). Not sure that they are actually trying to balance pop by this moves tho.
But not only this: i.e. more populated side has Wounds debuffed.
What we can do here? Let's discuss and maybe devs would pick some suggestions and implement it.
"Open T4, LotD, Cities etc" is not an option. Yes, it would stimulate overall population, but ratio still would remain the same!

Personally me strongly against all kind of nerfs and not a big fan of overbuffs.
I am up for AAO change.
So it would give not only bonus exp, rr and infl, but would buff basic stats (wounds, str, int, ballistic, willpower) by some %: by 2% for every 100% of current AAO, so with AAO 400% basic stats would be buffed by 8% (maybe even need to increase this value)
Pros:
Easy to tune
no need to change classes
Cons:
Easy to abuse it by creating 2nd, 3rd etc windows with opposite faction and if not get AAO for yourself, but able to greatly lower bonus for enemy
Doesn't affect PVE side of the faction life, so maybe AAO must affect gold and gear drop rate (at 400% - in 2 times more) and calculate all active players at the server for every 5 min.
