So, firstly, look – new title – Community manager!
My role here is to be your port of call when you need or want to get in contact with the team. If you have bug fixes, idea suggestions or feedback from events, please try and find the appropriate discord channel or place on our temporary forum, if you can’t find a place, message me. I will be working to keep you informed on the latest work from staff team through Q and A sessions and previews of coming events..
Lastly - it’s not my role to police the discord and I won’t be doing that – there are terms and services that cover what shouldn’t be posted.
If you think there is an issue or a channel needs to be created to provide an avenue for topic discussion – let me or Grim the Game master know.
On that note – we have a couple of small announcements to make:
As you know we are working hard to provide you with an engaging, creative, fun and fast paced environment.
Before we get there, we need to reach a few milestones – they include:
New website, forums and launcher
Our current website and forums don’t meet our, nor yours - the community’s needs, plus they look daggy. Currently the staff are working to put in-place the backend admin so we can release it. A new launcher to enter the game – we want to add a few functions such as linking to an email and adding a password reset.
Bug fixing
There are currently 2 major combat bugs in our server
Number 1 - the freezing or hanging of the client which you as players see as the ability cast bar freezing after – generally linked to the death of another player or NPC.
Number 2 – distance of abilities and their range not correctly represented.
It is unlikely that t4 will be released until we can reach an acceptable solution for these two bugs.
New stuff!
To help promote the server we will be launching an emissary type program shortly with the intent to reach out to our community and help us promote the server in languages we don’t speak members can apply and will be interviewed and then chosen – more on this in the following 2 week.
